I wrote this song with the love of God for His people in mind. Jesus declares, I will never leave you nor forsake you, (Hebrews 13:5). The Gospel of John cites Jesus as loving His own until the end (John 13:1). Paul affirms these great truths when he wrote, Who shall separate us from the love of God? (Romans 8:35). Truly, it is a miraculous work of irresistible grace and love which changes the hearts of sinners to love the very God-man they willfully spiritually crucified daily. Saul’s revelation of Christ on the road to Damascus is a perfect example of such a miraculous and gracious revelation. It is my hope and prayer this song touches the hearts, souls and spirits of many. For the love of God extends to all mankind, regardless of race, color or creed.
